Community Dentistry Department Conducts Oral Health Awareness and Screening Camp at Rise and Shine School, Wah Cantt
The Department of Community Dentistry, HITEC-IMS, in collaboration with Colgate, organized an Oral Health Awareness and Screening Camp at Rise and Shine School, Wah Cantt .
The activity was led by Dr. Maria Rabbani (Head of Department), along with Dr. Khadija Tariq,
Dr. Amna Faisal, and a team of house officers.
Dr. Maria Rabbani delivered an engaging oral health awareness session for the students, emphasizing the importance of good oral hygiene practices from an early age. Following the session, oral health screening was conducted by the house officers and the rest of the community dentistry team, covering approximately 300–400 students.
To encourage healthy habits, oral health kits and informational brochures were distributed among the students.
This initiative reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to community service and preventive oral health education, fostering awareness and promoting better dental health among school children.
