The department of Periodontology deals with the most basic structure of the oral cavity i.e. Periodontium. This subject forms an essential part of 3rd year BDS students’ training and teaching. The faculty of department is dedicated to provide requisite knowledge and mastery of subject to students.
To provide excellence & innovation in education, patient care & scientific discovery in the field of Periodontology. Our department is committed to advance the science of Periodontology & creating new knowledge. We seek to serve the community by providing & foresting periodontal care to improve oral & overall health.
The objective of periodontal department is to enable students to diagnose and treat periodontal diseases. We aim to do so through proper training program and patient care.

Associate professor dr sohaib siddique graduated from nishtar medical college,multan in 2010,Completed M.C.P.S training( periodontology) in 2014 and F.C.P.S training (operative) in 2018.He started his professional career as senior registrar in HBS medical and dental college and workd at Shifa college of dentistry.Later on,he joined dental college Hitec IMS as assistant professor where he’s serving till date.
