The Department of Orthodontics at Dental College HITEC-IMS, Taxila offers Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) training program designed to cultivate clinical excellence, academic proficiency and research capability in the specialized field of Orthodontics. Recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) in January 2023, this rigorous four-year program fulfills the stringent requirements laid out by the regulatory body.

The training encompasses a well-structured curriculum integrating theoretical knowledge, clinical expertise, diagnostic acumen, and critical thinking, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based orthodontic practice. Trainees are exposed to a wide array of orthodontic cases ranging from routine malocclusions to complex craniofacial anomalies, allowing them to develop competence in various fixed and removable appliance therapies, as well as in the use of contemporary diagnostic and treatment planning technologies. In addition, the FCPS program mandates scholarly activities such as seminars, journal clubs, and research projects, thus fostering an environment of academic inquiry and lifelong learning.
