ORAL PATHOLOGY POSTER COMPETITION
The Department of Oral Pathology organized a Poster Competition on “Oral & Maxillofacial Lesions” on 21st August 2025. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and presentation skills in the field of oral pathology.
A total of seven groups participated in the competition, each presenting their posters on diverse topics relevant to oral and maxillofacial pathology. The evaluation process was carried out by an esteemed panel of judges comprising:
Dr. Aamir Rafiq, Head of Department, Prosthodontics
Dr. Maria Rabbani, Head of Department, Community Dentistry
Dr. Faiqa Hassan, Head of Department, Oral Medicine
After careful assessment of content, presentation, and clarity, the results were announced as follows:
1st Position: Group 5 – “Fibro-Osseous Lesions”
2nd Position: Group 7 – “Parotid Swellings”
3rd Position: Group 2 – “Odontogenic Cysts”
A token of thanks was presented to the respected judges for their valuable time and contribution. The event concluded with an encouraging closing note by the Principal, Dental College HITEC-IMS, who appreciated the efforts of the participants and faculty in making the event successful. Certificates were distributed to all participants, along with special recognition for the position holders.
The competition not only enhanced the students’ academic understanding but also promoted teamwork, research aptitude, and innovative learning in the discipline of oral pathology.
