Bringing Smiles to Lakot: HIDAC Dental Camp Success!
HIDAC recently organized a free welfare dental camp in Lakot, Murree, aimed at providing essential oral healthcare to underprivileged local residents who lack access to regular dental facilities and treatment. Our team successfully served around 450 patients, offering comprehensive care completely free of cost—from OPD consultations and ART procedures to providing oral hygiene kits to the patients.
Beyond providing immediate treatment, the camp served as a profound learning experience for our House Officers and students. Experiencing the daily health challenges faced by rural communities ignited a passion for ongoing community outreach and welfare work, and seeing our patients leave happy, healthy, and satisfied made every effort worthwhile.
A special thanks to the Administration of Dental College HITEC IMS for their utmost support, and a special mention to Prof. Dr. Irfan Shah, who took time out to visit us at the camp.
