Dental College Signs MOU with POF Hospital Wah

The Dental College HITEC-IMS Taxila, established in 2016, is equipped with state of the art facilities for education, patient care and research. The affiliated Dental hospital has emerged as a trusted center for high-quality oral healthcare serving the workforce and families of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) as well as the population of Taxila, Wah and surrounding areas.
In a significant development, Dental College has offered its clinical and laboratory services to the patients visiting POF Hospital Wah for their Dental Treatment needs. In this connection, initially a team of POF Wah led by DG(C) Maj. Gen. Muhammad Kashif Azad HI(M), visited Dental College and Hospital on 01 June 2025. Subsequently, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the two institutions on 21 July 2025. The document was signed by Principal Dental College, Professor Dr. Irfan Shah and Commanding Officer (CO) POF Hospital, Col. Shoaib Rashid Awan.
This MOU will strengthen ties between the two institutions by facilitating employees of POFs and their families, allow them to avail all specialist dental treatment facilities in their neighborhood and spare them the inconvenience of travelling to Rawalpindi and Islamabad for their dental treatment needs.
