One Nation, One Spirit: Celebrating Pakistan at 79
On 14th August 2026, the Medical and Dental Colleges of HITEC-IMS came together to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan with great enthusiasm, unity, and national spirit.
The celebrations commenced with an Independence Day walk, bringing together students, faculty, and staff from both colleges. This was followed by a series of meaningful performances and small tributes highlighting the diverse cultures and heritage of Pakistan. National poems and patriotic presentations further added to the spirit of the occasion, reminding everyone of the sacrifices, unity, and resilience that form the foundation of our nation.
The event was also addressed by the Principals of the Medical and Dental Colleges, who shared inspiring messages reflecting on the significance of Independence Day and the responsibilities of the younger generation in contributing towards the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
The celebrations concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, bringing the HITEC-IMS community together in a shared expression of pride and love for the country.
The joint celebration served as a reminder that while independence was achieved through the sacrifices of those before us, the journey towards building a stronger, more progressive Pakistan continues—and each generation has a role to play.
