We at Dental College HITEC-IMS are committed to nurturing a culture of research and development activities that result in practical and meaningful health benefits. The faculty research interest group was developed to help achieve these research goals.

As in the in charge of this group, my vision is to harness the extensive clinical and academic expertise of our faculty to contribute to the state-of-the-art in dentistry in the form of research publications and patents. I would like to steer this group to elevate the research profile of the dental college locally and globally. This can be achieved by contributing to international impact factor journals and by participating in and hosting research conferences and workshops. Last but not the least, this group is in process of proactively cultivating research collaboration with the industry, other universities and research groups to promote inter disciplinary research within Pakistan and aboard. The goal is for the dental college to be recognized as a center of excellence in dental research in Pakistan.
