Introduction

The department of Operative Dentistry at Dental College HITEC IMS is one of its kinds, the state of the art facility located in Taxila.

The department is fully committed to patient care, student’s education, and services to the community. The department is fully equipped with all the recent equipment utilized in the department of Operative Dentistry.

It comprises of the 22 units fully equipped Operative Dentistry clinic which offers its services in all aspects of Restorative, Endodontic and Pediatric Dentistry. There is also a 20 table phantom head lab in the skills lab for students in the college.

There are also 20 Phantom heads simulators in the skill lab for students.

Mission

To educate dental students with our best available evidence to achieve and maintain optimal patients oral health, comfort, function, and ethics through risk based diagnosis, prevention and peserving management of Carious and non-carious diseases and disorder of teeth.

She did her BDS from de’Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore in 2001 and FCPS in Operative Dentistry & Endodontics from College of Physicians & Surgeons, Pakistan in 2010. Did CHPE in 2017 from Ripah International University. She started her professional career as Registrar at Islamabad Medical & Dental College Bharakahu in 2010 and worked there from 2010 to year 2021, then joined Dental college HITEC-IMS on 7^th April 2021 as Head of Operative Department. Currently she is supervising both undergraduate students & postgraduate trainees. She have to her credit 15 publications both in national & international journal and is on the reviewer board of local dental journals.
